PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for measuring the size or dimensions of a subject accurately and easily even if imaging is performed while zooming out (reducing) or zooming in (enlarging) the subject while capturing the subject or the situation of a job site using an electronic camera. SOLUTION: A camera apparatus with a subject dimension measuring or comparing function comprises a plurality of beam sources. The plurality of beam sources are mounted in the camera while being spaced apart from one another so as to radiate light emission beams in parallel with an optical axis of the camera.
