PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator that can cope with problems such as abnormal oscillation caused by noise at the start of oscillation output and output of unwanted pulses caused by a transient response when the power is started up, by changing the configuration of a low pass filter. SOLUTION: When an oscillation pulse counter circuit 3 of an oscillator detects that the number of pulses of an oscillation signal from an oscillation means from the start of oscillation reaches a predetermined threshold value, the oscillator selects and outputs an oscillation signal from the oscillation means.
