A portable information terminal comprises a display means and a control means. The display means comprises a plurality of display screens. The control means divides the whole image containing at least two rows of individual images aligned in the direction in which the display screens are aligned into a plurality of divided images by the dividing line passing through gaps between the individual images in the respective rows and displays each of the divided images on each of the display screens of the display means.
