<p>The purpose of the invention is to have a pretensioner operate even more efficiently while shortening the length of a pipe as much as possible to effectively reduce the weight, as well as minimize the restrictions to the shape of a guide member, and enable cheaper manufacture of a retractor. An installation section (17c) consisting of a protrusion is provided at an end section (17a) of the pipe (17) that holds a plurality of balls which are force transmission members. Furthermore, an installation groove (18a) consisting of a recess is provided in a guide member (18) that comprises a guide surface (18c) which guides the balls. Moreover, the installation section (17c) is fitted into the installation groove (18a), with the result that the pipe (17) is installed in the guide member (18) which is mounted on a frame, the outer circumference of the pipe (17) being in contact with the guide member (18). Since the guide member (18) is located on the outer circumference of the pipe (17), it is possible to make the pipe (17) short.</p> |
