PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make spoofing difficult in authentication using a human body communication module.

SOLUTION: An authentication system 1 includes an ATM 100 and a human body communication module 200 held by a user M. The ATM 100 and the human body communication module 200 are connected by human body communication. The authentication system 1 includes a finger vein reading part 94 which receives biological information of the user to generate biological feature data including biological information. The human communication module 200 includes a nonvolatile memory 240 wherein a registration template D2 including biological information of the user is preliminarily stored. Registration template data D2 in a human communication module 420 is transferred to the ATM 100, and authentication processing in an authentication part 10a is performed in the ATM 100.
