<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reader capable of suppressing the reduction of illuminance for a reading visual field. <P>SOLUTION: A storage part 55 is disposed close to illuminating lenses 51a to 51f in order to bring a laser diode of a marker light irradiation part 29 being a stored object, close to an optical axis L<SB>2</SB>of a light receiving sensor 28.
