PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas valve in which a needle valve is transversely arranged and is stably held at the minimum heating power position. SOLUTION: In the gas valve 3, the needle valve 33 is arranged so as to advance/retract transversely. A heating power adjusting lever 41 is rotatably supported at a shaft part 42 in a valve body 30, and a set screw 43 is mounted to hold the coming-off prevention state. A spring member 44 is arranged between the heating power adjusting lever 41 and the set screw 43, and the heating power adjusting lever 41 is pressed against the valve body 30 side by energizing of the spring member 44.
