PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of effectively utilizing light energy supplied to a liquid crystal display device in the game machine and increasing reliability of power supply to devices constantly requiring the power supply. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a solar battery for generating electric power by using some of light radiated from a light source provided in the liquid crystal display; a power storage part for storing the electric power generated by the solar battery; the devices constantly requiring the power supply; and a power supply part for supplying the electric power of the power storage part to the devices during a power-off period when the power to operate the game machine is not supplied to the game machine.
