PRINT CONTRLOING TERMINAL UNIT, AND METHOD FOR PRINTING FOR XPS FILE

PURPOSE: A printing control terminal and an XPS file printing method thereof are provided to proceed the printing which suits for the output intention of a user by generating print data about an XPS file without the loss of information included in the XPS file. CONSTITUTION: An analysis unit(140) distinguishes the first set up information reflected in printing and the second set up information which is not reflected in printing by analyzing a print ticket, core properties, and a digital signature included in an XPS(XML(eXtensible Markup Language) Paper Specification) file. A transform unit(150) changes the print ticket, the core properties, and the digital signature corresponding to the second set up information in order to be reflected in printing. A driver unit(160) uses generates print data by using the changed first set up information and second set up information. A communication interface unit(110) transmits the print data to an image forming apparatus.
