PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of allowing a user to easily grasp position relationship of a current position and a destination when the destination exists out of a display screen. SOLUTION: The car navigation (navigation device) 100 has: a position measuring part 62 for detecting the current position; a display screen 30 for displaying to overlap the current position (mark P) and the destination (mark Q) on a map image 71; and a controller 61 for controlling to display a guide display 80 in the display screen 30 so that the user grasps a position of the destination which disappears out of the display screen 30 by indicating the edge part 31a of the display screen 30 positioned at the same coordinate position as a coordinate position (Xg) of the destination in an advancing direction (B direction) of the current position when the destination (mark Q) disappears out of the display screen 30 in a route Z directed from the current position to the destination.
