PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of manufacturing the blade body for microsurgeries, which is provided with the sharp edge of a cutting blade and is obtained easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: A blade-body-shaped body is formed by applying punching (first press step) to a thin planar base material made of metal which is hardened by heat treatment. Next, by driving a shaving punch with a press, applying shaving (second press step) in which the shaving punch pressed obliquely to the surface of the blade-body-shaped body and forming an oblique shaved surface in the tip part of the blade-body-shaped body, an intermediate member before finishing the edge of a cutting blade is obtained. Further, by applying finish grinding and edging grinding (grinding step) and finishing the edge of the cutting blade and cutting edge, the blade body for microsurgeries is completed.
