PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote measuring system in which the number of mobile phone terminals connected with a measuring terminal can be further increased while avoiding the limitation of a mobile phone network, in the remote measuring system utilizing the mobile phone network. SOLUTION: A remote measuring system 1 includes: measuring terminals 5 each capable of periodically acquiring and transmitting measurement data using a communication line network 4; a communication line cooperating device 3 which communicates with a plurality of measuring terminals 5 using the communication line network 4; and a measuring host 2 for managing a measuring amount by collecting measurement data from the plurality of measuring terminals 5 through the communication line cooperating device 3. In the remote measuring system 1, the communication line cooperating device 3 has a connection time setting means for presetting to each measuring terminal a time at which the measuring terminal 5 starts connection to the communication cooperating device 3 in accordance with a measuring schedule of the measuring host 2. The measuring terminal 5 starts connection from the measuring terminal to the communication line cooperating device 3 at a preset time, thereby connecting the communication line cooperating device 3 and the measuring terminal 5.
