PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing operation stability without impairing durability and ride comfort. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 includes a carcass 6 reaching from the tread 2 to the bead core 5 of a bead 4 via a side wall 3; and a belt layer 7 arranged on the outer side in a tire radial direction of the carcass 6 and on the inner side of the tread 2. Between the belt layer 7 and the carcass 6, a cushion rubber 10 comprising a high elastic rubber of which the complex modulus of elasticity E* is limited within a range of 12-20 MPa is arranged.
