PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust energy for temporarily curing liquid for every liquid to be ejected. SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting device includes: a conveyance part which conveys a medium in a conveying direction; a first nozzle train in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged in a direction crossing the conveying direction and which ejects the first liquid to the medium; a first irradiation part which is disposed on a downstream side of the first nozzle train in the conveying direction and has a plurality of LEDs for temporarily curing the first liquid on the medium; a second nozzle train which is disposed on a downstream side of the first irradiation part in the conveying direction, and in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged in the crossing direction and which ejects the second liquid to the medium; a second irradiation part which is disposed on a downstream side of the second nozzle train in the conveying direction and has a plurality of LEDs for temporarily curing the second liquid on the medium; and a controller which controls the size of light emission areas where the LEDs emit light in the first irradiation part and the second irradiation part respectively, and makes energy for temporarily curing the first liquid differ from energy for temporarily curing the second liquid.
