PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field generation apparatus generating a magnetic field of an intensity of a certain level or more in a flow path, and generating a magnetic field of an intensity of a certain level or more over a wide range in the flow path without arranging a magnet in the flow path where water flows. SOLUTION: The magnetic field generation apparatus for physical treatment of water (magnetic field generation apparatus 1) includes a tubular part (pipe 4) where water flows, and a main coil 5 (superconductive coil) concentrically arranged with the pipe 4 outside thereof in the radial direction R of the pipe 4, and generating the magnetic field in the same direction as the axial direction Z of the pipe 4 inside the pipe 4 to magnetically treat the water.
