PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet ejection apparatus capable of preventing a trouble caused by mist generated upon ejecting ink. SOLUTION: The droplet ejection apparatus includes a liquid ejection head 60 that ejects droplets onto a substrate P, a carriage 69 that movably holds the droplet ejection head 60, a regulator 203 that regulates the flow of an air stream A1 generated between the substrate P and the nozzle face 147A of the droplet ejection head 60 with the movement of the carriage 69, and a mist recovery unit 202 disposed in the downstream of the flow of the air stream A1 regulated by the regulator 203.
