METHOD FOR ANALYZING RNA

A method for analyzing RNA that is extracted from a tissue or cell that has been fixed with a fixing solution, which comprises a step for determining whether or not said RNA satisfies the formula: B/A=1 [wherein A represents the ratio (%) by weight, in electrophoresis, of RNA having 1000-4000 nucleotides to the total weight of said RNA; B represents the ratio (%) by weight, in electrophoresis, of RNA having more than 4000 nucleotides to the total weight of said RNA]. According to this analysis method, the expression data or the occurrence or non-occurrence of the expression of a gene in the tissue or cell, which has been fixed with the fixing solution, are analyzed.
