A method of operating a receiving device (103) to schedule a recording of an event is described. The method includes: receiving service group data defining a service group, the service group including a plurality of services, each service in the plurality of services being associated with a different video quality, all services in the plurality of services transmitting events according to similar schedules; receiving event data defining an event to be recorded, the event data specifying a service transmitting the event; and if the service transmitting the event is a member of the service group, scheduling a recording of the event using a service in the service group associated with a highest available video quality which the receiving device (103) can access. |
