The symmetrical two-wire line (42) is at least partially encapsulated within a central portion of a closed pipe (40) comprising a wall (44) that insulates the symmetrical two-wire line from the outer medium. The invention is of use for supplying power to antennas by means of symmetrical two-wire lines.</p>
