PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for sound-absorbing foam, from which sound-absorbing foam having a high degree of sound absorption can be obtained. SOLUTION: The composition for sound-absorbing foam contains a thermoplastic resin (a) and/or rubber (b), and a vinyl aromatic block copolymer (c), wherein the vinyl aromatic block copolymer (c) shows a tanδpeak temperature in the range from -20°C to 50°C, and the vinyl aromatic block copolymer (c) has a SP value ((J/cm<SP>3</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>) of 17.3 or more and 20.0 or less.
