PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a color image while keeping the hue of the original image when printing the color image in two colors. SOLUTION: A color image including a flower image and a character image is printed in two colors. The flower image is made chromatic, the colors of petals are designated colors of the two-color printing, and leaves have colors other than the designated colors. The character image is made achromatic. A color determination part divides the color image into a chromatic image and an achromatic image. A color extraction part extracts images of the designated colors and images of colors other than the designated colors from the chromatic image. The image of each petal has the designated colors, and the image of each leaf has colors other than the designated colors. A color conversion part retains original colors for the images of the petals. The color conversion part converts the colors of the image of each leaf to gray once, and converts them to the designated colors in accordance with the concentration thereof.
