<p>An article storage case (10) is formed from a flexible sheet material, the article storage case (10) comprising a rectangular bottom plate (11); a first gusset portion (14), a top plate (15), and a second gusset portion (16) provided in this order from one side of the bottom plate (11); and a pair of pressing plates (12, 13) respectively extending from opposite sides among the other sides of the bottom plate (11) without any gusset portions therebetween. An article (30) is placed on the bottom plate (11), the pressing plates (12, 13) are respectively folded onto the article (30), and folding lines between the bottom plate (11) and the first gusset portion (14), between the first gusset portion (14) and the top plate (15), and between the top plate (15) and the second gusset portion (16) are perpendicularly folded, respectively, so as to package the article (30) by covering the article (30) and the pressing plates (12, 13) with the first gusset portion (14), the top plate (15), and the second gusset portion (16). Thereby, an article storage case capable of effectively preventing the movement of the article within the case during transportation without using a buffer material, and applicable for articles of various sizes can be provided.</p> |
