Information processing units (220, 520, 720) extract communication information from regions in which the passage of time and brightness in the captured images changes, in accordance with the changes in the brightness of each region, said communication information including display information for each region. The information processing units (220, 520, 720) also generate stability information, which indicates the degree of stability of the communication state, for each item of communication information.
