<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the shape of a lens frame of a high-curve frame and to cause a probe to less come off a groove in the lens frame in measuring the high-curve frame. <P>SOLUTION: This spectacle frame shape measuring instrument is for detecting a moving position of a probe 281 having an acicular end shape while measuring the three-dimensional shape of a lens frame in its radial direction (X-Y directions) and in a direction (Z direction) vertical to the radial direction. This measuring instrument includes: a probe holding unit comprising a probe shaft 282 mounted with the probe 281 and holding the probe shaft 282 to allow it to incline in the end direction of the probe 281 while holding the probe shaft 282 to allow it to move in the Z direction; a Z-moving means; a Z-position detecting means for detecting the Z-position of the probe; a control means for controlling the drive of a Z-movement unit; and an arithmetic means for finding the shape of the lens frame in the Z-direction corresponding to its radial shape based on Z-direction position information on the holding unit and detection information of the detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
