<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber having high liquid drawing property and good dry feeling while it is difficult to leak from the side, a manufacturing method therefor and an absorbent article. <P>SOLUTION: An absorber 4 of this invention has an elongated shape and includes fiber, and it has a section 1B opposite to an excretory part arranged on the excretory part of a wearer oppositely when it is incorporated into an absorbent article and worn. The center area of the width direction Y of the opposite section 1B of the excretory part has a coarse-dense structure of fiber, and the side area 41 of the width direction Y positioned on left and right sides of the center area includes the lower density part 5 with the lowest density at the opposite section 1B of the excretory part, and the coarse-dense structure of fiber includes the medium density part 6 having higher density than the low density part 5 and the high density part 7 having higher density than the medium density part 6.
