<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind turbine hub transportation device, which facilitates handling of a wind turbine hub. <P>SOLUTION: The transportation device includes a hub receiving surface 102 for receiving a wind turbine hub 260, a first beam 106, a second beam 108, and a center part 110 connecting the first beam 106 to the second beam 108. The first beam 106 has at least one first beam connector 112a, 112b adapted for connecting the first beam 106 with a first lifter 264 for lifting the transportation device 100, 200, and the second beam 108 has at least one second beam connector 116a, 116b adapted for connecting the first beam 108 to the first lifter 264.
