<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal recovery method and a metal separating agent which can separate/recover metals in sewage in a large amount at high speed, and a water purifying apparatus using the agent. <P>SOLUTION: The metal separating agent recovers metals in sewage and includes a water-soluble polymer having an acidic group and an anion exchange resin. The water purifying apparatus uses the metal separating agent and has a first mixing tank for mixing the sewage with an aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymer having an acidic group, and a second mixing tank for mixing the liquid, obtained by mixing the sewage with the aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymer having an acidic group, with the anion exchange resin. A filter is disposed in the lower part of the second mixing tank, the filter has pores, and the anion exchange resin is held by the pores of the filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
