<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator operating device, which electrically controls an output of a power unit according to the operation amount of an operation element, and achieves size reduction by generating frictional resistance in a simple structure for easy application to various vehicle models. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes: an extension portion 9 turned by the operation of a throttle grip 3; a torsion coil spring 5 energizing the extension portion 9 in the return direction while the extension portion 9 is turned; and a friction generation mechanism 6 for adding frictional resistance to the turning movement of the extension portion 9. The friction generation mechanism 6 includes a compression coil spring 21 for applying a pressure to the extension portion 9, and a friction member 19 pressed by the compression coil spring 21 into sliding contact with the extension portion 9. The torsion coil spring 5 and the compression coil spring 21 are arranged coaxially to the extension portion 9 and overlap with each other at least partially in the axial direction of the extension portion 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
