PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive draw-in of a chromatic color of an object to be picked up when controlling automatic white balance. SOLUTION: A region S that a second white balance correction value can acquire is set so that an absolute value of a difference from a first white balance correction value calculated based upon the color information of a picked-up image before white balance correction is performed is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value. The second white balance correction value is calculated based upon the color information of the picked-up image after the white balance correction within the range of the region S.
