PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report to a user after guaranteeing operations of a function block to be reported when it is determined that there is a doubt of disconnection on an FPC substrate. SOLUTION: A control section 301 proceeds to a step S100 of restarting the whole portable terminal 100 when receiving notification of the disconnection from a disconnection detection section 302. The control section 301 proceeds to a step S101 of checking a disconnection state in restart. The control section 301 determines the disconnection state in the step S101, and if it is a disconnection state A, proceeds to a step S201 of performing initial setting required only for checking an operating state of the function block 304 to be used as a report section. In the case except the disconnection state A, the portable terminal 100 determines that there is no section for reporting that there is a risk of the disconnection, and does not start the portable terminal 100.
