PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety-improved connector for direct current distribution which does not discharge arc to the outside and can prevent a reverse insertion of plug blade of a plug into a connection part of a receptacle. SOLUTION: A plug 11 to be used in an DC driven electric unit has a pair of plug blades 12a, 12b of different lengths and each of the plug blades 12a, 12b of the plug 11 are inserted into insertion holes 14a, 14b of a receptacle 13 and are connected with a pair of connection parts 15a, 15b arranged inside the insertion holes 14a, 14b of the receptacle. The pair of the connection parts 15a, 15b are arranged so that, when each of the plug blades 12a, 12b of the plug 11 are inserted into the insertion hole 14a, 14b, the short blade 12b may be electrically connected earlier than the long blade 12a.
