A solar cell module comprises a solar cell assembly and a reflecting back encapsulant that is laminated to the back non-sun-facing side of the solar cell assembly. The reflecting back encapsulant comprises a co-extrusion or extrusion coated multilayer sheet, and the multilayer sheet comprises a reflecting layer, a first tie layer and optionally a second tie layer that are co-extruded or extrusion coated on the reflecting layer. The multilayer sheet has a total thickness of about 2 to about 50 mil (about 51 to about 1270μm). The tie layer(s) comprise polymeric material(s) that have a melting temperature of about 80° C. to about 165° C. and an adhesion to glass of at least about 30 lb/inch when measured with the T-peel test. The reflecting layer has a thickness of about 1 to about 35 mil (about 25 to about 889μm); comprises a polymeric material having a melting temperature between 80° C. and 165° C.; and further comprises about 4 to about 90 wt %, based on the total weight of the reflecting layer composition, of a filler having a refractive index above 1.6 and a mean particle size of 0.1 to 20μm.
