PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a purified tea extract by which the yield of non-polymer catechin and the removal rate of gallic acid are achieved at high levels. SOLUTION: The method for producing a purified tea extract includes contacting a tea extract containing an organic solvent aqueous solution with an anion exchange resin.
