PURPOSE: A safe driving evaluation method and an apparatus thereof are provided to objectively and efficiently evaluate the safe driving level of an operator and maximize the security of operation. CONSTITUTION: The safe driving evaluation apparatus includes: a subject and an operation storage(110) for storing operation list having subject list including one or more subject proceed during the driving operation and at least one operation to be proceed one or more subject; a subject and an operation definition(120) for extracting a task to be performed which an operator tries to be presently proceed and defining the detail operation acted to be proceed a task to be performed from an operation list; an operation behavioral analysis part(130) for analyzing the operation action of the operator based on the task to be performed and detail operation; and a safe driving evaluation portion(140) for evaluating for safe driving level of the operator by using the analyzed result of the operation behavioral analysis part.
