PURPOSE: A method for compensating coupling overhead in a distributed computing system, a data processing program and a computer program product, and the distributed computing system and an overhead calculator corresponding for a corresponding computer system are provided to offer the row processing capacity including valid processing capacity and the coupling overhead by deciding coupling efficiency and loss processing capacity. CONSTITUTION: A distributed computing system offers the raw processing capacity including effective processing capacity and coupling overhead. An overhead calculator(600) is realized in firmware and/or an electronic circuit. The overhead calculator decides the coupling efficiency within the distributed computing system in order to compensate the coupling overhead.
