The invention relates to a device for dispensing a substance, comprising at least one nozzle for dispensing said substance, supply means for supplying said substance to said nozzle, comprising at least an outlet opening being in fluid communication with said nozzle and at least one actuator assembly for causing said substance being dispensed through said nozzle. The invention aims to provide an improved dispensing device according the above preamble, wherein the drawbacks of under pressure, the occurrence air bubbles and degassing is not present. According to the invention said supply means are arranged for supplying substance under pressure to said nozzle, and wherein said actuator assembly being positioned between said supply means and said nozzle. Herewith the substance to be dispensed always exhibits a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure levels and the occurrence of any air bubbles in the substance during operation is prevented.
