The system (12) has two outlet devices provided for washing liquid and moved along with wiper arms (14, 16). One of the outlet devices is positioned in a wiping direction of the wiper arms. Another outlet device is positioned in an opposite wiping direction. A pump device (22) is provided for subjecting the outlet devices with the washing liquid, where the washing liquid is alternatively supplied to the outlet devices when a conveying direction of the pump device is reversed. The outlet devices are arranged at a wiper blade (18) of the system. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a wiping system of a motor vehicle.
