PURPOSE: A ball-type sluice valve is provided to reduce a load by the rotation of a ball and maintain watertight seal against the abrasion of a seat ring because a ring spring is installed in the seat ring. CONSTITUTION: A ball-type sluice valve comprises a body(4) in which a seat ring(3) is installed, a reduced shaft part(5) which is installed on the upper side of the body, a ball(2) which is installed inside the body and rotated as contacting the seat ring, a rotary shaft(1) which is fixed to the ball and protruding upward through the reduced shaft part, a cap(6) which is coupled to the upper side of the reduced shaft part and supports the rotary shaft, an axial protrusion which is formed around the rotary shaft located in the reduced shaft part, a packing which is installed under the axial protrusion and the cap, and a ring spring which is installed in the seat ring to press the seat ring to the ball.
