PURPOSE: An image obtaining method and digital camera system which compensates an image that is photographed in a driving camera for a vehicle are provided to prevent the deterioration of an object by using a brightness value. CONSTITUTION: An image is photographed(S120). An exposure calculation area is determined according to the illumination of an external environment(S140). The coordinate of the exposure calculation area is determined. A brightness correction value is determined(S160). The image of the exposure calculation area has a preset exposure value through the brightness correction value. The photographed image is corrected to the brightness correction value(S180).
