PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a ventilation fan in a portion ranging over from a wall reverse side to a wall surface firmly with a large strength, without using a conventional "batten". SOLUTION: This fixing pedestal is provided with a pedestal main body 10 arranged fixedly in the wall reverse side of an inside of a circular opening (aperture) 44 formed in a wall plate 42 for attaching the ventilation fan or the like such as the ventilation fan V and a ventilation fan hood to fix the ventilation fan or the like, having a front face arranged along the reverse face of the wall plate 42, and having a screw B<SB>2</SB>penetrated through the wall plate 42 from a wall surface side, to be inserted into a screw screwed-in prepared hole (attaching part) formed in the wall plate 42, so as to arrange fixingly a front plate main body 51 of the ventilation fan or the like, on the wall surface, a longitudinal side plate part (fixing part) 4 formed integrally in the pedestal main body 10 to fix the pedestal main body 10 onto an in-wall column (construction material) P, and a duct connection cylinder (duct connection port) 2 formed in the pedestal main body 10 to connect a ventilation duct D arranged in a wall.
