A balloon controller for an endoscope apparatus which displays an image expressing the states of expansion and shrinkage of balloons and an abnormality in supply and drawing of a fluid to enable the conditions to be grasped accurately and immediately. On a balloon monitor (82) are displayed an endoscope image (a) schematically expressing an endoscope (10), an insertion assist implement image (b) schematically expressing an insertion assist implement (70), a first balloon image (c) schematically expressing a first balloon (60), a second balloon image (d) schematically expressing a second balloon (80), a first tube path image (e) schematically expressing a balloon air supply port (38) and a second tube path image (f) schematically expressing a tube (74). These images (a ~ f) are changed according to the states of expansion and shrinkage of the two balloons (60, 80) and an abnormality in supply and drawing of air.
