The strap (1) has cuts (2) or grooves designed transverse to a main extending direction (Q). The cuts or grooves form fine cuts or notches in a manufactured tire with the main extending direction in an axial direction of a tire. The cuts or grooves are inwardly designed with a continuously increasing breadth in a deep extension in the strap from a flat surface of a band in a deep extension direction, which is designed perpendicular to the flat surface. The breadth is measured perpendicular to the main extension direction of the cuts or grooves. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vehicle pneumatic tire.
