PURPOSE: A method for preparing N,N'-dialkyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide is provided to prepare high purity N,N'-dialkyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide excluding N-methyl-3-(N-methylamino)-propionamide(MMAP) as a precursor of carcinogenic materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing N,N'-dialkyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide comprises the steps of: reacting ,3'-dithiodipropion acid alkylester represented by chemical formula 2 with alkylamine represented by chemical formula 3 in the presence of a polar solvent at 0 ~ 50°C; solidifying N,N'-dialkyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide represented by chemical formula 1 included in a reaction solution; and drying the N,N'-dialkyl-3,3'-dithiodipropionamide solid.
