Modular driver's cab for railway vehicle and method for producing the same

The modular operator compartment has a driver seat (2) and lateral cabinets (3a,3b) arranged on the opposite side of the driver seat. The vehicle seat is arranged between the lateral cabinets. A front cabinet area (6) is arranged in driving direction of a rail vehicle before the driver seat. The front cabinet area is covered upwards or to driver seat by a cover plate (9). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an operator compartment for rail vehicles.
