<p>The invention relates to a check-in system (1) for luggage (4), c omprising a number of check-in units (2), each provided with a di scharge conveyor (3) for discharging luggage (4), which is contro lled by control means, and an automatic check-in unit (6) dispose d near the beginning of the discharge conveyor (3), by means of w hich a passenger (5) can check-in luggage (4) himself. Each check -in unit (6) is provided with a camera (12) for detecting luggage (4) on the discharge conveyor (3), with the check-in system (1) comprising an assesment station (19) for assessing luggage (4) de tected by the camera (12) on the basis of the images recorded by the cameras (12), as well as first communication means (21) for p assing information regarding images recorded by the cameras (12) from the cameras (12) to the assesment station (19).</p> |
