METHOD AND AUTO CONTROL DEVICE FOR ROLL BENDING

PURPOSE: Device and method of automatically controlling roll bending are provided to process various curvatures of targets without replacing a roll former and enhance productivity by automatically adjusting height. CONSTITUTION: A device of automatically controlling roll bending consists of a base plate(100), a pair of guide plates(110), a fixed forming unit(120) and an adjustable forming unit(130). The guide plates are installed perpendicularly to the base plate. For the fixed forming unit, first and second roll formers(122,124) are fixed side by side between the leading ends of the guide plates. An air cylinder(125) is installed on the upper end of the first roll former. The air cylinder presses in targets. For the adjustable forming unit, a plurality of roll formers are continuously installed between the guide plates to be connected from the fixed forming unit. For the adjustable forming unit, the heights of a pair of facing rollers on each roll former are automatically controlled according to the bending curvature of the target.
