PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent spot defects by enhancing dispersibility of liquid crystal at the point right after liquid crystals are dropped and to also prevent the contamination through the contact of the liquid crystal with uncured sealants by reducing dispersibility of liquid crystal at the point when the liquid crystal is diffused. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate(100), a second substrate(200) facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer(400) formed between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal layer comprises liquid crystals(410) and additives(420) for lowering surface tension and diffusion property. The additive comprises a siloxane-based compound.
