PURPOSE: An apparatus for compressing chopped paper pieces is provided to store the chopped paper pieces in a storage and to reduce washing frequency. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for compressing chopped paper pieces comprises: a main body(100) having a storage inside; a chopping unit(300) which cuts papers in a certain size and inputs the chopped paper pieces into the storage; a compressor(200) which presses the inputted paper pieces at certain pressure; and a control unit(400) which is electrically connected with the cutting unit and compressor and controls the operation of the cutting unit and compressor.
