Gas cooler with knocking device

The cooler (1) has a gas guide pipe (4) for passing through synthesis gas. A sound device (9) is arranged with a rapper at the guide pipe for transferring rapping energy. The guide pipe comprises an inner pipe (5) that is designed in oscillatory manner. The guide pipe comprises a passage for a plunger of the sound device that is connected with the guide pipe in a gas-tight manner. The plunger lies in a normal position on the inner tube. The sound device has bellows i.e. spring element, for the rapper.
