<p>The method involves fusing partially an inner surface (7) of a mounting hole of a component (5), so that calotte-shaped projections (4) protrude beyond the inner surface of the mounting hole is formed. The component is cooled, so that the calotte-shaped projections are solidified. The component is slipped onto the shaft (1) until the mounting hole is positioned in a fastening area of the shaft. A circumferential surface (3) of the shaft is partially fused, so that calotte-shaped projections protrude beyond the circumferential surface of the shaft is formed.
